Who we are
Discipline Commissioning Suite is a commissioning software service operated by Chukwudi Abalogu in Alberta, Canada, for companies worldwide. This policy covers our website, accounts, project workspace and contact forms. Contact our privacy lead at hello@logusman.com.
What we collect
- Account information: your name, email, sign-in details and company membership. If you use Google sign-in, we receive the account information you authorize Google to share.
- Company and project records: company details, projects, subsystems, ITRs, punch items, certificates, sign-offs, names and dates entered by your team, and audit history.
- Contact messages: name, company, email and message, plus internal reply and delivery status.
- Billing information: Stripe handles payment card data. We keep identifiers and subscription, plan, seat, billing-period and payment-status information needed to manage your access. We do not store your full card number or card security code.
- Technical information: essential session data, security and error logs, and limited usage events such as page visits, plan clicks and downloads.
Please do not upload sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for commissioning work. Your company is responsible for deciding what personal information to put into its project records and for having authority to share it.
Why we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, separate company workspaces, provide commissioning records and exports, manage billing and access, answer enquiries, prevent abuse, diagnose errors and understand use of the service. We do not sell your personal information or use your project records for advertising.
Where applicable, we rely on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating and securing it, legal obligations, and consent where required. You can ask us about an optional use or withdraw consent; some information is necessary to provide an account.
Storage, service providers and international processing
Account and project information is stored in our hosted Lovable Cloud backend. Website hosting and delivery use Lovable and its hosting infrastructure, including Cloudflare. Stripe processes payments. Contact emails use Lovable-managed email delivery, including Resend, and the receiving mailbox provider. Information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States, and may be subject to local laws. We do not promise Canadian-only storage or selectable data regions.
Service providers receive the information needed for their work. Authorized members of your company can access records according to their permissions. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect the service or people, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards. If your team uses AI-assisted email drafting, relevant message content is sent to the configured AI provider through the managed AI service; drafts require human review.
Security and browser storage
We use encrypted connections, account controls and company-scoped access to reduce unauthorized access. No online service is completely secure. Essential browser storage keeps your sign-in session and preferences, including language and install-prompt dismissal. Clearing browser storage removes those preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.
Retention
We retain active account and project records while needed to provide your company’s workspace. Cancelling a paid plan does not automatically delete project data. Contact messages remain until removed by the operator or handled through a deletion request; there is no automatic expiry. We retain billing, security and audit information as needed for legal obligations, accounting, disputes and abuse prevention. Retention is reviewed when an account closes or a deletion request is received; there is no single automatic deletion period for all records.
Deleted information may remain in provider backups until the provider’s backup cycle expires. We cannot promise immediate deletion from every backup or from records Stripe must keep independently.
Access, export, correction and deletion
Email hello@logusman.com from your account email to request access, an export, correction or deletion. Describe the account, company or records concerned. We verify your identity and, for company project records, your authority before acting. You can also use the available project exports.
We respond under the privacy law applicable to your request, including Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and Canadian federal privacy law where applicable. If applicable to you, you may also request restriction, object to processing, or exercise portability rights under European privacy law. Some records may need to be retained by law or belong to your company rather than you personally; we explain any limitation. You can raise a concern with us or your local privacy regulator, including Alberta’s Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated through the service or email. See our Terms of Service for the subscription rules.
