Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026 · Alberta, Canada
Agreement and company accounts
These terms are between you and Chukwudi Abalogu, the Alberta, Canada operator of Discipline Commissioning Suite. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you act for a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. The service is intended for business users, not children.
Keep account credentials secure, use individual accounts for each user and ensure your team is authorized to access the company’s records. Tell us promptly about unauthorized access.
Free and paid plans
Starter is our free plan. Team, Business and Enterprise are paid offerings, with features and limits described on the pricing page or in an agreed Enterprise contract. A free account does not require a card. There is no paid-plan free trial unless expressly offered.
Team is US$29 per user per month and Business is US$79 per user per month on monthly billing. Annual prices, seat quantities, taxes and the amount payable are shown before checkout. Stripe processes payments. Paid access is for the company workspace and licensed seats, not unlimited shared user accounts.
Billing, renewal and changes
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected monthly or annual interval until cancelled. The number of seats selected at checkout determines the charge. You authorize recurring charges and are responsible for applicable taxes. Seat or plan changes and any prorated charges or credits are shown by the billing service before confirmation.
We will notify you of a price change before it applies to a future renewal. You may cancel before that renewal. Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features; we do not promise continued premium access when payment is overdue.
Cancellation and downgrades
You can cancel through Billing and the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access continues until the end of the already-paid billing period, then the workspace reverts to Starter. A scheduled downgrade takes effect at the date shown in the billing portal. Moving to Starter may limit features and new records under Starter limits; it does not transfer ownership of your existing data.
Unless required by law or agreed in writing, completed billing periods and unused portions of a period are not refundable. Contact us if you believe a charge is incorrect. An Enterprise contract may set different cancellation or support terms.
Your data and our software
Your company owns its project records and other content it submits. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, secure and export that content to provide the service. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, permissions and backups or exports you need to retain.
We own the software and our branding, subject to third-party rights. Your subscription gives you permission to use the service, not ownership of the software. Personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Export or deletion requests can be sent to hello@logusman.com.
Acceptable use
Do not share credentials to avoid seat charges, access another company’s records, upload unlawful content, infringe rights, send spam, introduce malware, disrupt the service, bypass security or billing controls, or test systems without permission. We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, nonpayment or a security risk. Where practical, we will explain the reason and allow you to remedy it.
Commissioning responsibility and warranties
The service is a recordkeeping and workflow tool. It does not certify plant safety, provide engineering approval or replace qualified professionals, site procedures or regulatory requirements. Your team remains responsible for inspections, sign-offs and decisions. Check generated documents and AI drafts before relying on them.
Except for a specific written commitment and rights that cannot legally be excluded, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free records, a particular outcome or fitness for a particular project. Any SLA and support hours are those agreed in your contract.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profit or business interruption. Our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees your company paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or CA$100 for a free account. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including liability that cannot be excluded for fraud or wilful misconduct. Nothing limits your obligation to pay agreed fees.
Ending the service and changes to terms
You may stop using the service at any time; cancel paid renewals separately. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice where practicable and an opportunity to request an export. We may update these terms and will communicate material changes before they take effect. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel before the next renewal.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Alberta, Canada, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Please contact hello@logusman.com first so we can try to resolve a concern informally.
